Nerf Maverick REV-6

The Maverick REV-6 was re-released in the N-Strike range in 2007, but was created by Nerf in 2004.

ADVANTAGES and DISADVANTAGES-
  • Is small and light
  • It has a pop-out barrel that holds six darts.
  • Can fire any Nerf dart
  • Has a decent range for its size, shooting up to 35 feet
  • Cocking mechanism allows for very fast shooting, with up to 3 darts a second, but this usually leads to a large decrease in the range.
  • The 'sight' of the gun is a bump at the end near the barrel, and is extremely accurate over ranges of up to 15 feet
  • Costs $15 AUS
  • Can occasionally jam, meaning that darts barely leave the barrel.
  • The tactical rail is on top of the cocking mechanism, which means accesories such as scopes and sights can be knocked off
Overall I gived this gun 8.5/10 stars. It is consistent, and remains one of the greatest guns Nerf has ever made.
