Nerf Hornet AS-6

The Nerf Hornet maybe isn't the most consistent Nerf gun, but it definitely packs a punch!
ADVANTAGES and DISADVANTAGES of a working Hornet
  • This gun can shoot 35 feet easily, so you should expect a range of about 40 feet
  • Has two blaster modes
  • Single Fire means you pull the trigger once to shoot each bullet, usually with poor ranges
  • When you press the blast button, it releases all darts simultaneously
  • Has a fairly accurate curved sight
  • Comes by itself in blue
  • Comes in green with the Hulk Abomination blaster
  • Comes in red with the Unity Power System
  • Costs $40 by itself, which is very expensive, and can only be bought at Toys R Us
  • Can be bought as part of the Unity Power System for $70 (right)
  • Needs to be cocked, and then pumped 20 times before it can be used
  • Bullets can simply pop out of the chamber, however this can be fixed by using Buzz Bee Darts
Sometimes out of the box Hornet's can fail to work at all, or stop working within a week or two. If this happens, it is either
  • Because you have pumped it to many times and stretched the bladder
  • Because the model you have bought is simply part of a bad batch.
Unless you're a modding wizard than there is nothing you can do: your Hornet is broken. I would recommend buying this gun as part of the Unity Power System, therefore if your store has a no refund policy you still have the more consistent other components.
This gun receives 7.5/10 stars. It is powerful, especially with the Buzz Bee darts, but lack of consistency in the heat of battle prevents this gun from receiving more stars.
