Nerf Scout IX-3

The Nerf Scout is a handy little blaster, but despite having owned it for about 7 months, I've never got round to writing a review. So... here it is!!!

ADVANTAGES and DISADVANTAGES
  • Is small, about the same size as a Nite Finder
  • Is a single-shot blaster that holds two extra darts
  • Has a range of about 30 feet
  • Is Nerf's most reliable single shot blaster. It never jams and unlike with the Nite Finder the bullets very rarely pop out.
  • Fires all darts except Clip System
  • Is reloaded manually at the top of the blaster, similarly to the Maverick
  • Houses one tactical rail, on top of the reloading mechanism, so it is inconvenient with most accessories
  • Unlike the rest of the N-Strike line it comes in red and grey
  • Only comes with the Unity Power System, which costs $70
  • Reloading takes approximately 3-4 seconds
The Scout is a very useful gun, and vies with the Reflex as Nerf's best single shot blaster, especially as far as reliability is concerned. This would definitely be my reccomendation as a tertiary weapon in any heavy Nerf war.
